Description
The wine is deep and intense, wonderfully juicy, with chocolate, berry notes and a hint of smoke. Nicely balanced with smooth tannins and a great finish. Delicious with red meats, pork ribs and barbeque.
This Cab comes from our own vineyards at the Andes Piedmont terroir, “La Armonia Estate” our irrigation water comes directly from the snow there, totally clean and transparent. It is a beautiful and pure landscape for our vineyards and Cab production. The grapes get a complete ripening process with the modetaration in weather conditions offered for the Andes influence, keeping the fruit, the elegant and complexity of this special terroir.
WINEMAKER’S NOTES
After destemming, the grapes were macerated in cold for 4 days in stainless steel tanks and then fermented with selected yeasts. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is macerated for 7 days with its skins to obtain more smoothness and intensity. Finally, the wine is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, where it perform the malolactic fermentation.
