Description
Roussillon, South of France
Variety
50% Grenache Gris, 30% Grenache Blanc, 20% Macabeu
Tasting note
Generously aromatic on the nose with notes of baked apple, sweet lemon, white peach, orange blossom, and honeycomb, makes this a more complex wine than many at this price point. The palate is dry, with moderate yet refreshing acidity, and a voluptuously round and textured mouthfeel. The old vines contribute real character, and the finish is long and persistent. This is easy drinking and vibrant, while also being an extraordinary gastronomic wine.
Food pairing
Moules-frites, pasta vongole, baked seafood or roast chicken dishes.
